Caring for your charm: Brass will naturally tarnish with age and wear but any discolouration can been cleaned off with brass polish and a cloth. Just rinse with a little washing up liquid and water to remove any nasty chemicals that may harm your pooch.

Measuring for a collar
Using a soft measuring tape (or piece of string and then measure string) measure around your dog's neck where the collar would sit. Make sure you can comfortably fit two fingers between the measuring tape and your doggy's neck. This will ensure the collar is a perfect fit.
Measuring for a harness
Using a soft measuring tape (or piece of string and then measure string) measure around your dog's neck at the base of the neck (the widest part) lower than where a collar sits. Make sure you can comfortably fit two fingers between the measuring tape and your doggy's neck. The chest measurement should be taken around the widest part, just behind the front legs. If your pup in between two sizes, go for the size up.
